I'm 25 years old born and raised in Iowa. I'm a dental assistant, receptionist, and now a cosmetic tattoo artist! Makeup has been my passion ever since I can remember, I am obsessed! Seriously, my makeup collection is HUGE. I've been drawing/filling in my eyebrows for 10+ years. It has always been my specialty and my favorite part of my routine. I was never blessed with noticeable eyebrows, being a readhead you just don't get that luxury. It's amazing what a set of brows can do to your confidence, and I want to share that feeling with the world! I've trained with many talented permanent makeup artists and have learned the very best techniques in the industry to give you the highest quality brows that you deserve. When I'm tattooing, nothing else around me matters, it's just me, my machine, and your eyebrows. I absolutely love what I do!

The purpose of semi-permanent makeup tattooing is to enhance the natural features of a client. Permanent makeup is softer and more subtle – it is meant to be a natural-looking enhancement. Traditional body tattoos use ink while cosmetic tattoo procedures involve pigments. These pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the artist to make changes to color and shape over the years as client’s natural coloring and facial changes occur.
A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area during the procedure. So there is minimal discomfort associated with the procedure, some clients even fall asleep!
Permanent makeup can last for 1-3 years. A touch up is required 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment. Clients that do not follow the after care instructions may require more touch up appointments. Factors that will cause your permanent makeup to fade faster include: tanning bed/sun exposure, exfoliating, oily skin, profuse sweating (e.g. hot yoga 5x/week), medical conditions. We recommend a yearly "color boost" touch-up to maintain the procedure’s color.
The Morning of Your Appointment: • Do NOT drink coffee, energy drinks, or any other caffeinated beverages, as caffeine thins the blood. • Do NOT take Niacin, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or any other pain medication that thins the blood. • Do NOT exercise. *Do NOT discontinue using prescribed medications without first consulting your physician. • Do NOT drink alcohol or be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol 24-48 hours prior to the procedure. • Refrain from taking Vitamin E and/or Omega 3 (Fish Oil) 1 week prior to the procedure. • Refrain from tanning or intense sun exposure 1 week prior to the procedure. • Do NOT receive Fillers or Collagen 6 weeks prior to the procedure. • Refrain from Using Retinol and AHA Skin Care Products 6 weeks prior to the procedure. • Do NOT receive Fat Injections 6 weeks prior to the procedure. • Refrain from using Retin-A, receiving Laser and Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Vampire Facials, Photofacials, or any other intense skin rejuvenation treatments 6 weeks prior to the procedure. Brow Procedures: • If so desired, wax or thread your brows 1 week prior to the procedure. • Do NOT tweeze your eyebrows for 48 hours prior to the procedure. • If so desired, tint your eyebrows 1 week prior to the procedure. The pigment color selected is based on your brow hair color. If you normally have darker brows due to tinting and want this color for PMU Brows, please do this.
The tattooed area is a healing wound, so proper aftercare is critical. Therefore, absolutely no makeup is allowed on the treated area, makeup at a safe distance outside the tattooed area is fine with careful application. Do not tint your lashes or brows and avoid any products that contain active skincare ingredients, like Retin-A.
This is a two-step treatment, consisting of an initial session and then a follow up 6-8 weeks after.
During the initial session, we will discuss what style fits you the best, draw the outline and decide on the color. After the topical anesthetic is applied, the pigment is deposited.
During the 6-8 week follow up session, we will check how your brows healed and address any concerns you may have from the initial treatment, such as pigment loss, minor changes of the color or shape. Since we can go darker but not lighter in shade, and thicker but not thinner in size, we want to be conservative in the first session.
The immediate healing process takes about 7-10 days, however, the brow area takes 4-6 weeks for your new eyebrow tattoo to shed completely and the pigment to surface to its true color. Proper aftercare is an extremely important aspect of the long term success, effectiveness, health, and overall satisfaction with your new ombré or powder brow tattoo.

Powder/ombre brows are done using a machine used to create pixels like a soft makeup look and is suitable for ALL skin types. Microblading is done using a hand tool used to create hair like strokes. Microblading is not suitable for all skin types, the strokes may blur over time depending on your skin type, lifestyle, etc.
For the first 1-2 Hours... Gently, but firmly blot the procedure area with a clean tissue or paper towel every 15 - 20 minutes. This removes any lymph fluid buildup that would cause premature scabbing. Do this step until there is no longer any lymph fluid present on the tissue. • 4-6 Hours After the Procedure... Wipe/blot gently with the sterile water provided using a cotton pad or paper towel and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of the aftercare balm/ointment provided either with a cotton swab or clean fingers. After the first 4 - 6 hours, you may apply a thin layer of aftercare balm/ointment as needed to keep the procedure area hydrated and moist. *Do NOT apply the aftercare balm/ointment to a wet tattoo. • Next Day - Day 14... Wash the procedure area gently for 10 seconds (patting motion, not rubbing), AM and PM, with warm water and the After Soap Cleanser or Dove Sensitive Bar Soap. Splash the area with lukewarm water. Pat lightly with a clean tissue or paper towel. Apply a thin layer of the aftercare balm/ointment once dry. (For eyeliner procedures, do this step for 7 days.) • The aftercare balm/ointment is to be used as needed for up to 14 days... longer if there is still itching, flaking, and/or scabbing present. FOLLOW FOR ALL PROCEDURES: ● Do NOT allow the procedure area to get wet, other than what was mentioned above for the first 10 days... longer if there is still flaking and/or scabbing present. ● Do NOT pick or rub. The flakes must fall off on their own or you risk removing the color and possibly scarring. ● Avoid dirt (as in gardening), extreme perspiration (the gym) for the first week to prevent possible infection. ● Avoid makeup on the pigmented area for 2 weeks. You may then use powder products on the brow until healed. (30 days) ● Avoid Retin-A, AHA’s, and any other active ingredient products while healing. (30 days) ● Avoid touching with fingers, sunscreens, direct sun, tanning beds & self-tanners on pigmented areas. Once healed, use a good sunscreen daily. (30 days) ● Avoid swimming pools, oceans, hot tubs, saunas, hot yoga, and hot steamy showers. Shower with back to shower head to avoid water, shampoo/conditioner getting into the pigmented area. (30 days) ● Don’t be alarmed if pigment comes off onto Q-tip when applying aftercare ointments. ● Never use topical antibiotics unless given to you at time of your procedure, with specific instructions. ● To donate blood, it’s a Red Cross policy to wait one year after any tattooing procedure.
